Oracle HCM Functional Process Expert (RH Project Management Assistance)

Role Description & Context

As part of the preparation for the global transformation of its HR processes and systems to the Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion) platform, our client is looking for an independent Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Expert.

Positioned on the business owner side (AMOA) alongside the internal HR Functional Manager, your role will be to provide critical and hands-on expertise to challenge the workshops led by the integrating consulting firm. You will ensure that the target processes decided upon align as closely as possible with the Oracle standard (Fit-to-Standard) and that any requested deviations remain viable and sustainable within the tool.

Missions & Responsibilities

Before workshops: Review the consulting firm's proposals, identify design risks, and anticipate functional trade-offs based on your field experience with Oracle HCM.

During and after workshops: Constructively challenge deviations from standard processes.

Perform feasibility analyses (what the tool can/cannot do) and propose standard alternatives.

Validate the consistency and viability of process deliverables before their final sign-off.

Positioning: Consulting expert role on a time & material basis. The formal writing of process documentation remains the responsibility of the partner consulting firm.

Functional Scope

Core mission: Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, Compensation, Learning.

Optional (Nice-to-have): Absence Management, Time & Labor.

Outside scope: Payroll.

Profile Sought

Profile Sought & Essential Criteria

Certifications: Oracle HCM Cloud certified in all or part of the modules in scope.

Experience: 5 to 10+ years of experience in functional implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud.

Multi-country projects: Proven experience in international deployments based on a single Core model.

Upstream phases: Experience in scoping, HR process architecture, and gap analyses (Fit-Gap).

Languages: Fluent French and English, both spoken and written.

Independence: Obligation of total independence from the program's partner consulting firm.
