We are looking for photographers or individuals who can write and photograph to create expert articles on efficiently captioning and tagging hundreds of photos using AI, specifically featuring the Convertgence app.
Project overview
We are looking for photographers (or people who write and photograph) for expert articles on a very practical question: How to caption and tag hundreds of photos without sacrificing your evenings — now that AI can describe an image?
Before you apply, try Convertgence (https://convertgence.app/): a Mac app that writes titles, captions, keywords, location, and IPTC categories and writes them directly into the files (IPTC/XMP, including RAW) before they go to photo agencies or clients. The app is free; only the AI analysis costs, starting at €0.02 per photo, and 20 analyses are included upon registration — enough to test it on your own images and form an opinion. Mac with Apple chip, macOS 14 or newer (no Windows version yet).
The article (1,200–1,800 words, in German) shows how to caption 500 photos in minutes using AI. An article that helps photographers, not an advertisement: the problem, today's methods (Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, Bridge…), what AI changes, what it doesn't replace, and Convertgence among the tools, with your own screenshots. It will be published under your name on our website. €300 per article, usage rights for the website and our social media channels; you may mention it in your portfolio.
To apply, answer five short questions here or via email to *@*.app (ten minutes, no text, no purchase) and provide the email address of your Convertgence account: the main problem with captioning from your perspective; the feature that caught your eye; whom you would recommend the app to; what perspective you would choose; which tools you already use.
We will select several authors (300 € per article) and reply to everyone within a week. As a thank you to everyone who takes the time to test the app and respond: 50 free analyses on the Convertgence account (100 for the most detailed answers) — credit for the app, not convertible to cash, credited to the account with the application address within seven days.
