PAM Solution Architect

Project overview

Masentó are working with a global organisation that requires a PAM Solution Architect to join their team on a 12-month initial contract. This will be 3 days a week in either Kent, UK or Paris, France.

Our client is replacing its identity and access management landscape end to end. This covers identity governance, access management, privileged access management (PAM) and certificate management.

You will be the senior technical authority for the PAM stream. You will take the overarching IAM architecture from the IAM Architect and turn it into solution designs, detailed designs and architecture patterns. You will also guide the PAM Engineer(s) and the internal PAM Technology Manager through implementation. You will help decide how to fix and extend the existing PAM estate, and flag early where the roadmap, skills or resourcing need attention.

Key responsibilities

Essential experience

• Own the PAM solution architecture, covering design, patterns and standards across data centre, cloud and OT
• Assess the current CyberArk implementation and define the remediation and extension approach
• Design PAM for OT and industrial environments, balancing security risk against business friction
• Work closely with the IAM Architect, PAM Technology Manager and Project Manager to turn the architecture into an executable plan
• Provide technical direction to engineers and challenge decisions where needed
• Contribute to the roadmap and raise gaps or risks proactively
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering modern PAM solutions (CyberArk strongly preferred)
• Proven, hands-on OT experience. This is the top priority and a critical gap for the client
• Solid experience across cloud and on-premises PAM
• Senior-level experience taking solutions from architecture through to delivery
• Strong stakeholder communication and the drive to lead rather than only execute
