Project overview

As a parent and child coach, you will support parents, children, and teachers with upbringing and psychosocial issues in primary schools.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Providing support for minor family problems at primary school
• Guiding children with psychosocial problems and providing psycho-education
• Guiding teachers in identifying concerns and, together with the internal supervisor, converting these into an action plan
• Referring to appropriate (preventive or second-line) facilities
• Strengthening the pedagogical network within the school
• Setting up and executing preventive activities, such as group training and theme evenings for parents and children
• HBO work and thinking level
• SKJ registration
• Knowledge of developmental psychology and pedagogy for children aged 4 to 12
• Knowledge of the educational structure and internal care structure of schools
• Knowledge of the social map of the district/neighborhood and informal organizations
• Experience in supporting parents and families as directors of their child's development
• Knowledge of the Domestic Violence/Child Abuse Reporting Code and privacy legislation
• Communicatively skilled in Dutch and English
