Job description
Seeking an experienced PCB Designer to support hardware development in a fully remote project. The role requires creating and revising PCB layouts using Cadence tools.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for an experienced PCB Designer to support hardware development. The project will be implemented fully remotely, English as the project language is sufficient.
Responsibilities
- Creation and revision of PCB layouts
- Implementation of circuit diagrams into production-ready layouts
- Component placement, routing, and layer stack-up
- Consideration of EMC, signal integrity, and manufacturing specifications (DFM)
- Creation of manufacturing data (Gerber, assembly data, BOMs)
- Coordination with hardware development and manufacturing
Requirements
Framework Data:
- Several years of experience in PCB Design
- Very good knowledge of Cadence (e.g., Allegro / OrCAD)
- Experience with multilayer boards and high-speed designs is an advantage
- Knowledge of common standards (e.g., IPC) is desirable
- Very good English skills, German not required
- Independent and structured way of working
- Start: 1.11.26
- Duration: 6 months + option for extension
