Job description
Coordinate daily permitting activities, manage workflow, and handle complex permit applications. Advise management on capacity and priorities, and contribute to process development.
Project overview
For the Permitting, Supervision, and Enforcement team, you combine coordination with substantive work:
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Coordinate the daily activities within permitting and monitor workload and progress
- Identify stagnation and bottlenecks and adjust in a timely manner
- Advise the team manager and board on capacity, priorities, and developments
- Process complex and politically sensitive permit applications
- Support colleagues with complex issues and encourage knowledge sharing
- Contribute to the further development of work processes, collaboration, and service delivery
- Translate new laws and regulations and policy developments into practical implementation
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Construction Permitting Officer
- HBO work and thinking level, construction technology or law is a plus
- Completed ABW 1, ABW 2 training is a plus
- Willingness to sign a declaration of integrity and provide a Certificate of Conduct after award
- Strong communication skills towards colleagues, management, board, and external parties
- Available from December 1, 2026, for 32 to 36 hours per week
