Job description
As a Pioneer for Strategic Asset Management at Evides, you will play a central role in the further professionalization of asset management, ensuring it becomes an integral management tool for effective steering by the Management Team.
Project overview
What will you do
As a Pioneer for Strategic Asset Management at Evides, you will play a central role in the further professionalization of asset management within the organization. You will ensure that asset management develops into an integral management tool with which the Management Team can effectively steer on performance, risks, costs, sustainability, and compliance.
Evides already has a Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) that outlines the desired direction. The challenge now lies in its implementation and organizational embedding. You will bring structure to the governance, strengthen decision-making, and ensure that asset management is not solely dependent on the knowledge in employees' heads but is supported by clear processes, roles, management information, and an effective PDCA cycle.
You will operate at the interface of strategy, governance, organizational development, and change management. You will work closely with the Head of Strategy, the Senior Advisor Asset Management, the Management Team, the Delegated Asset Owner (GAO), and various stakeholders within the organization. You are the director of change: you bring parties together, monitor progress, and ensure that improvements are sustainably anchored within the line organization.
Your activities
Who are you?
You are an experienced pioneer, program manager, or transition manager who has proven successful in realizing complex change assignments. You understand how asset management organizations function and know how to translate strategic plans into concrete results. You are skilled at connecting people, interests, and organizational units.
You are not a subject matter expert in asset management who handles the operational execution yourself, but a director who ensures that processes, governance, and responsibilities are properly established and embedded. With your organizational sensitivity and communication skills, you know how to create support at both executive and operational levels.
What else you should know
- Operationalizing the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and ensuring sustainable organizational embedding;
- Setting up and implementing the Asset Management Platform (PAM), including governance, consultation structures, and decision-making processes;
- Supporting the further definition of the Delegated Asset Owner (GAO) role and establishing effective cooperation agreements;
- Developing and implementing a uniform reporting and management review cycle for asset management;
- Setting up steering information and dashboards in the areas of performance, risks, costs, sustainability, and compliance;
- Coordinating improvement measures resulting from the ISO 55001 gap analysis and monitoring progress, risks, and dependencies;
- Setting up and embedding a strategic PDCA cycle that aligns with Evides' regular planning and control cycle;
- Connecting management, executive board, and subject matter experts to achieve common asset management objectives;
- Reporting on progress, results, and improvement opportunities to PAM, GAO, and the Management Team.
- Extensive experience as a pioneer, program manager, change manager, or transition manager;
- Demonstrable experience with asset management within capital-intensive organizations;
- Knowledge of and experience with ISO 55001 and its practical application;
- Experience with governance, organizational development, and implementation issues;
- Experience with executive advisory services to boards and management teams;
- Experience with setting up steering information, management reviews, and improvement programs;
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, change management, and program steering.
- This role is classified in scale 13
- This is a 6-month project with a possibility of a 6-month extension.
