As a pioneer, you will work on the direction and organization of AVU as a regional collaborative organization.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Developing a clear course for the future of AVU
• Organizing the necessary collaboration and capacity for the new organization
• Ensuring the organization aligns well with the administrative wishes of the participating municipalities
• Developing a strategic future vision for AVU as a regional collaborative organization
• Exploring and shaping new core tasks related to circularity and raw materials policy
• Increasing the added value and profile of AVU with the participating municipalities
• Managing the network of administrative contacts with municipalities, administrators, and regional partners
• Further professionalizing the organization and governance
• Academic work and thinking level, at least HBO bachelor's degree
• Extensive experience within an administrative context, preferably in the field of municipalities or joint regulations
• At least 3 years of work experience within a political-administrative context
• At least 2 years of experience with organizational development, change assignments, or setting up collaborations
• Proven experience in advising administrators and political office holders
• Knowledge of and affinity with waste management, raw material chains, and circular economy (preferred)
• Practical experience in contract management and client management (preferred)
