Plant Construction Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced plant construction engineer for our location in Darmstadt. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and documentation of plant projects from concept to detailed design.

Your tasks include the creation of technical drawings and designs, taking into account process engineering specifications and relevant design standards. You will perform design-related technical calculations and regularly coordinate with project management, various specialist departments, and suppliers. During the production phase, you will provide constructive support for the projects and contribute to the further development of internal guidelines and continuous improvement processes.

For this position, you should have a completed degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable technical field. Practical experience in design and plant construction is required. You have proficient knowledge of SolidWorks and experience with PDM systems such as SolidWorks PDM or Autodesk Vault. Knowledge of relevant design standards, especially ISO GPS, is necessary. Furthermore, you should have experience in technical documentation and technical calculations.
