An experienced Platform Engineer with strong technical leadership qualities is sought for a public sector client. The focus is on the operation and further development of a container-based platform, infrastructure automation, and the professional management and further development of the technical team.

Responsibilities

• Operation, administration, and further development of OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms
• Setup and optimization of hybrid platform and cloud infrastructures
• Automation of infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible
• Further development of GitOps processes with ArgoCD and Helm
• Installation, configuration, and operation of container-based applications
• Analysis and sustainable resolution of disruptions and platform problems
• Professional leadership, coaching, and structured further development of the technical team
• Definition, enforcement, and tracking of technical standards and working methods
• Several years of practical experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps
• Sound experience in the administration and operation of OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Confident practical experience with Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with GitOps, ArgoCD, and Helm
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and stabilizing production platforms
• Demonstrable experience in professional leadership, coaching, or technical management of developer or platform teams
• Ability to enforce technical standards bindingly and to methodically develop the performance of a team
• Native-level German language skills
• Residence or permanent place of work in Germany and provision of services from Germany
