PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer (m/f/d) – Siemens & Beckhoff

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced PLC programmer / automation engineer (m/f/d) to support ongoing and future automation projects.

Within the scope of larger projects, the existing team is to be supported in PLC programming, commissioning, and further development of automation solutions. Specialists with in-depth knowledge of Siemens (TIA Portal / S7) and/or Beckhoff are particularly sought.

Responsibilities

• Development, programming, and optimization of PLC controls
• Implementation of automation solutions with Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens S7, and/or Beckhoff TwinCAT
• Adaptation and expansion of existing PLC programs
• Support during commissioning and error analysis of machines and plants
• Execution of function tests and troubleshooting
• Technical coordination with the involved project teams
• Support during increased project volume and capacity peaks

Requirements

Framework Conditions

• Several years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
• In-depth knowledge of Siemens (TIA Portal / S7) and/or Beckhoff (TwinCAT)
• Knowledge of Rockwell / Allen-Bradley is an advantage
• Experience in machine or plant construction as well as in larger automation projects
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German language skills
• Must-Have: Residence within a 100 km radius of Hanau to be able to attend regular on-site appointments
