PLC Programmer / Commissioning Engineer WAGO (CODESYS 3.5)

For our client, a specialist in building automation and data center infrastructure, we are looking for an experienced PLC programmer / commissioning engineer (WAGO / CODESYS 3.5) to support the commissioning and optimization of building automation systems in data center projects.

Background

Experienced PLC programmers and commissioning engineers with a focus on WAGO and CODESYS 3.5 are sought for the setup and commissioning of several data center locations. The focus is on technical building equipment, building automation, and the monitoring and control of critical infrastructure within data centers.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of building automation and MSR systems in the data center environment
• Adaptation and optimization of WAGO controllers
• Working with CODESYS 3.5
• Performing functional, integration, and acceptance tests
• Support in the control and monitoring of cooling systems
• Fault analysis and troubleshooting during the commissioning phase
• Coordination with internal project teams and on-site customers
• Documentation of test results and commissioning activities
• Support in the integration of control and monitoring systems

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a PLC programmer or commissioning engineer
• Good knowledge of WAGO controllers
• Experience with CODESYS 3.5
• Knowledge of building automation, MSR technology, or BMS systems
• Experience in the field of technical building equipment or data centers is an advantage
• Knowledge in the area of cooling systems and control technology is desirable
• Good German and English skills
• Willingness to travel for assignments in Frankfurt and Berlin
