PLC Programmer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced PLC programmer for the development and optimization of control systems for machines and plants. In this role, you will work on the conception, adaptation, and improvement of PLC programs with a focus on modern control platforms.

Your tasks include the development and optimization of control programs, carrying out software updates, and integrating new functions into existing machine concepts. You will support commissioning, perform troubleshooting, and resolve faults in control and drive systems. Furthermore, you will maintain existing plant controls, document changes, and work closely with the design and software development departments to continuously optimize plant technology.

For this position, you should have a completed apprenticeship in an electrical engineering field or a degree in automation technology, computer science, or a comparable discipline. You have sound knowledge of PLC programming and practical experience with common control platforms. Experience with frequency converters and drive technology is required. Knowledge of CAD systems and product data management software, as well as programming knowledge in modern languages, are advantageous.

Good German language skills and occasional willingness to travel are prerequisites. The position is hybrid and offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative automation projects.
