For our client in the field of energy and automation technology, we are looking for an experienced PLC programmer (m/f/d) with in-depth knowledge of WAGO control technology and the programming and integration of generation plant controllers (EZA controllers).

The project focuses on the control engineering implementation and connection of battery storage systems (BESS), taking into account grid-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Programming, adaptation, and optimization of PLC controls based on WAGO
• Development and implementation of control and regulation functions for battery storage systems (BESS)
• Integration and configuration of EZA controllers for grid-compliant control of energy plants
• Connection and communication of various system components and interfaces
• Execution of functional tests, error analyses, and optimizations
• Support during commissioning and technical documentation

• Several years of experience in PLC programming, especially with WAGO control systems
• In-depth knowledge in the area of EZA control / generation plant controllers
• Experience with battery storage systems (BESS) and their control engineering integration
• Good knowledge of PLC programming according to IEC 61131-3, ideally with CODESYS or e!COCKPIT
• Knowledge of relevant industrial communication protocols, for example Modbus TCP/IP
• Ideally, experience with grid connection requirements, especially VDE-AR-N *
• Independent and structured way of working, as well as strong technical understanding
