Municipality of Venray seeks a Policy Advisor Public Order and Safety

The position

You advise the mayor, directorate, and management on security issues with administrative and societal impact. You also play an important role in events by advising on safety aspects and collaborating with organizers, emergency services, and other partners. Furthermore, you represent the municipality within the Veiligheidsregio Limburg-Noord (Safety Region Limburg-North). Within the regional disaster organization, you fulfill the role of Public Safety Officer (AOV) and coordinate cooperation within the safety region.

You participate in the crisis organization, thus contributing to a safe and resilient municipality.

• Experience in a similar role within a municipality
• Experience within the 'red' and 'orange' columns (referring to crisis management levels)
• Competitive fixed salary, depending on knowledge and experience;
