Project overview

For the municipality of Bergeijk, YER is looking for a Policy Officer Housing.

The Position

Bergeijk consists of 6 cores and a large rural area. The aim is to realize 3,000 homes by 2040, with attention to building for diverse target groups. You will work on policy and concrete projects.

Responsibilities

You will do all this with your colleagues from spatial development, permits, social domain, and public space, among others.

• You are the first point of contact for housing corporations and make performance agreements with them.
• You create policy to ensure the right homes for all target groups; think of housing care, social rent, seniors, starters, etc. You will work closely with your colleagues from the social domain. In the coming period, you will work on the housing ordinance.
• You keep track of housing construction forecasts, regional agreements on housing programming, and translate these into the municipal housing program.
• You mediate in the housing of special target groups, for example, the housing of status holders.
• You investigate where subsidies are possible and apply for them.
• You consult with the province, MRE, project developers, and neighboring municipalities.
• You are a direct advisor to the aldermen.
• HBO work and thinking level
• Preferably a completed education in a relevant field
• Experience / affinity with housing construction
• It is a plus if you are familiar with working within the MRE
• Competitive fixed salary, depending on knowledge and experience;
• 25 vacation days and 8.33% holiday allowance;
