Power BI Project Lead (Microsoft Fabric) - 800 per day - 18 months - Fully Remote

Our client, a manufacturing business, has just started a data transformation programme with an external data partner and needs an experienced Power BI Project Lead to sit on the client side. This role bridges the business and IT. You ll gather the requirements and KPIs from the business, turn them into clear specs for the data partner, and lead delivery across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

The programme will run domain by domain (Finance, Procurement and so on), with each domain taking around 4 months, so you ll need to work in a time-boxed way and keep each phase on track. This is a big, senior role that needs someone confident enough to push back on the architecture, challenge the data partner s architects, and steer the technical team, while staying pragmatic and close to the business.

Responsibilities

• Work with the business to gather and define requirements and KPIs for each domain
• Create clear specs and pass them to the data partner
• Act as technical lead across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, challenging the architecture where needed
• Project manage the data partner s delivery in time-boxed phases and hold them to account
• Act as the bridge between the business and IT, keeping both sides aligned

Power BI Project Lead (Microsoft Fabric) - 800 per day - 18 months - Fully Remote

• 10+ years experience in data, BI and analytics
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential (biopharma or life sciences is a big plus)
• Experience leading BI projects across both the business and IT side, not just technical delivery
• Strong, hands-on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI expertise
• Proven track record defining KPIs and gathering business requirements
• Experience managing third-party delivery partners on a data transformation programme
• A pragmatic, hands-on approach
