Project overview

In this role, you will shape the Commercial Service Backbone, defining and evolving the core data foundation supporting global commercial capabilities across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Commercial Operations. You will bridge business strategy and technical execution by establishing scalable data models, semantic standards, ontologies, and integration patterns that enable trusted customer and product data, advanced analytics, and AI-driven solutions.

Work Mode: 100% remote

Job Responsibilities

Expectations

We Offer

  • Drive the target data architecture for a scalable, modern commercial data foundation supporting multiple downstream applications, including CRM, Service Desk, Marketing Automation, Order-to-Cash, and Commercial Operations.
  • Design and maintain enterprise Conceptual and Logical Data Models, taxonomies, and ontologies for key commercial entities, including HCP/HCO Master Data, customer interactions, service entitlements, and commercial contracts.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to establish clear bounded contexts across commercial sub-domains.
  • Design real-time and event-driven integration patterns and API contracts connecting service platforms, transactional systems, and analytical data lakes and warehouses.
  • Apply Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles to ensure scalable data synchronization while maintaining system and team independence.
  • Establish semantic authority for AI-driven commercial analytics, including entity and metric definitions, calculation logic, business meaning, and permitted scope of interpretation.
  • Define semantic completeness criteria and validation principles determining when commercial data products are ready for conversational and agentic AI consumption.
  • Ensure semantic definitions and data lineage remain reliable across replication, aggregation, and downstream consumption.
  • Align commercial data consumption with enterprise AI guardrails, including provenance, data protection, retention, access control, and auditability.
  • Own and scale Architecture Decision Record (ADR) governance across the commercial data domain and contribute to Governance Decision Records (GDRs) covering metadata and semantic standards.
  • Ensure architecture aligns with enterprise reference architectures, security requirements, and relevant healthcare compliance standards, including GxP and GDPR.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate legacy data silos, reduce technical debt, and move toward vendor-agnostic and future-ready architectural patterns.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, and Commercial Business Leaders to translate business capabilities into scalable data products.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, or solution architecture, ideally within commercial, CRM, customer service, or similarly complex enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or another relevant quantitative discipline.
  • Expert knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, including relational, dimensional, document, and graph models.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise data backbones or unified data layers supporting multi-application ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), bounded contexts, enterprise data domains, and architecture governance.
  • Hands-on understanding of API and event-driven architectures, including technologies and standards such as Kafka, AMQP/MQTT, REST, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms and tooling such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure Data Lake, DBT, and SQL.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Veeva, SAP, or ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of commercial value streams across Marketing, Sales, Customer Service/Support, and Commercial Operations.
  • Experience with Master Data Management, particularly HCP/HCO and Account structures, is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to establish reliable semantic foundations for AI and advanced analytics, including entity and metric definitions, calculation logic, semantic boundaries, and completeness criteria.
  • Understanding of how ambiguous or incomplete data definitions can affect conversational and agentic AI systems and the ability to design controls preventing semantically incorrect outputs.
  • Experience working with Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and architecture governance; familiarity with fitness functions and metadata governance is an advantage.
  • Understanding of enterprise requirements around data provenance, lineage, security, privacy, retention, and auditability.
  • Knowledge of regulated environments and standards such as GDPR and GxP.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build shared technical roadmaps across multiple teams and business domains.
  • Dedicated Agent support – your go-to person for project continuity, client communication, day-to-day administration, and long-term professional development
  • Access to Darize Learning & Development – our internal development platform featuring webinars, industry reports and articles, access to learning platforms such as DataCamp and Coursera, and regular invitations to technical, business, and lifestyle events
  • Community and networking events – from Kick-Off trips, Christmas celebrations, and Summer Sport Games to family picnics and cultural events for you and your loved ones
  • Consultant Development Program – personalized professional development support based on current industry trends and market needs, delivered by experienced mentors and development advisors
  • Comprehensive benefits package – including private healthcare, life insurance, a sports card for you and your family members, as well as access to employee discounts in Poland and abroad
  • A community of experienced IT experts – exchange knowledge and collaborate with technology professionals who bring years of hands-on experience delivering complex technology projects (the average professional experience of our consultants in Poland exceeds 10 years)
