We are looking for a highly experienced Network and Infrastructure Architect who can technically shape complex enterprise environments and act as a technical sparring partner for stakeholders, project managers, and business departments.

• Support in the conception and further development of network and infrastructure architectures
• Planning and optimization of complex Cisco ACI environments
• Analysis and evaluation of existing network and infrastructure environments regarding stability, scalability, and future viability
• Development of technical target architectures and modernization concepts
• Consulting relevant stakeholders on architecture and technology decisions
• Participation in infrastructure and transformation projects in the enterprise environment
• Coordination with business departments, project managers, and technical contacts
• Identification of pragmatic solutions for the sustainable further development of the existing IT landscape

Nice to have

• Experience with F5 technologies and load balancing solutions
• Experience in infrastructure and network transformation projects
• Experience with data center migrations or consolidation projects
• Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Cisco, Security, or Architecture certifications)

Utilization: 60-100%

approx. 80% Remote, average of one week per month on-site in the greater Wolfsburg area

Project language: German and English

Must-haves:

• Many years of experience as a Network and/or Infrastructure Architect in complex enterprise environments
• Very good knowledge in the area of network architecture, routing, and switching
• Profound experience with Cisco technologies in the enterprise environment
• Very good knowledge of Cisco ACI
• Experience in the conception, further development, and modernization of network and infrastructure landscapes
• Experience with highly available and scalable infrastructure architectures
• Experience in evaluating existing network and infrastructure landscapes as well as developing target architectures
• Profound knowledge in the area of data center security and firewall architectures
• Experience in dealing with various stakeholders as well as in technical consulting for business departments and decision-makers
• Strong communication skills as well as a pragmatic and solution-oriented working style
