1.1 Project/Process Context

Design, further develop, and integrate SAP solutions for the maintenance of rail vehicles, plants, and facilities. Define and design functional application architectures in a complex landscape with numerous functional and technical interfaces.

1.2 Project Structure

Functional coordination with the client and stakeholders in workshops; knowledge transfer through mentoring and pair programming.

3.1 Scope

4.1 Must-Have Requirements – 100% mandatory to fulfill

Proof required by years of experience.

M1: Consulting, development, and design of SAP S/4HANA QM and logically linked areas PM, PP, and MM; Principal (> 7 years).

M2: SAP QM in the S/4HANA environment: practical implementation/customizing experience and deep current knowledge in a complex SAP landscape (> 5,000 users and > 50 interfaces); Principal (> 7 years).

M3: QM expert knowledge of quality master data, planning, inspection, notification, error recording, and Fiori Apps for QM, especially under S/4HANA; Principal (> 7 years).

M4: Customer-specific additional programs on SAP QM standard (User-Exits/BAdIs) and implementation of OData Services; Senior (> 5 years).

M5: Practical S/4HANA project experience, especially SAP QM and integration with PM, PP, and MM; Intermediate (> 3 years).

4.2 Should-Have Requirements

Proof S1–S6 required by years of experience: Senior (> 5 years experience).

S1 (25%): Cross-functional PM experience for configuration setup and data processing in a complex SAP landscape (> 5,000 users).

S2 (20%): Functional application architectures in a highly complex, highly available environment with many functional interfaces (> 5,000 users and > 50 interfaces).

S3 (20%): Cross-functional PP experience for configuration setup and data processing in a complex SAP landscape (> 5,000 users).

S4 (15%): Interfaces to non-SAP applications.

S5 (10%): Cross-functional MM experience for configuration setup and data processing in a complex SAP landscape (> 5,000 users and > 50 interfaces).

S6 (10%): Analyze business requirements and convert them into functional and technical specifications.

• Methodically advise, analyze the current infrastructure, and develop target states; elaborate, evaluate, and present solution options. Gather information, bring stakeholders together, and conduct workshops.
• Implement and customize approved solutions; create usable Proofs of Concept for selection if necessary and ensure the quality of the PoCs and the final solution.
• Advise on standardization and optimization of future maintenance costs.
• Continue to support and develop the digitalization of manufacturing-related documents and advise on subsequent digital quality management.
• Support the build-up of functional/technical know-how through mentoring and pair programming.
