Job description
Experienced Process Planner/Production Planner for the body shop in Styria, working in a hybrid model to design innovative manufacturing solutions.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced process planner / production planner for the body shop at our location in Styria. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid work model and to design innovative manufacturing solutions.
Your tasks include the development and implementation of Lean-oriented manufacturing concepts in the body shop, as well as the planning and optimization of automated and manual production processes. You will perform cycle time and capacity calculations and simulate production sequences using modern software solutions. You will evaluate throughput, buffers, bottlenecks, and material flow to achieve continuous improvements. Further responsibilities include the creation of technical tenders, the evaluation of supplier and plant concepts, and change management during planning and industrialization.
For this position, you should have a technical education or a degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, automotive, automation, or production engineering). Ideally, you have experience in process, production, or manufacturing planning, preferably in the automotive sector or body shop. Knowledge of industrial joining processes such as resistance spot welding or bonding is required. Experience with manufacturing strategies, production sequence, and plant design complete your profile.
Proficiency in Siemens Tecnomatix (Process Designer, Process Simulate, Plant Simulation) as well as an understanding of robotics, fixture technology, and clamping concepts are essential. German (B2) and good English skills are required.
