Product Manager Data & Analytics Portfolio

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager / Domain Delivery Lead to manage a Data & Analytics portfolio for an international company.

In this role, you will be responsible for portfolio management across Data Products, Analytics, AI, and Integration solutions. You will act as the central interface between Product Owners, Architecture, Engineering, and Platform teams, orchestrating domain delivery.

Responsibilities

We expect:

• Managing the current portfolio and developing the roadmap
• Coordinating architects, delivery teams, and external partners
• Ensuring transparency in priorities, dependencies, and milestones
• Translating business requirements into executable product and delivery roadmaps
• Managing portfolio dependencies and delivery risks
• Evolving existing data landscapes towards a common enterprise platform
• Evaluating new requirements against the strategic target architecture
• Extensive project experience as a Product Manager or Portfolio Manager
• Strong background in Data & Analytics
• Proven experience with SAP BW, SAP HANA/HANA Views, and SAP-centric data landscapes
• Experience with Databricks or similar Lakehouse solutions
• Technical understanding to evaluate solution approaches
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English and German

• Start: November
• Duration: Until the end of the year (with extension option, planned 12 months)
• Scope: 5 days per week
• Location: Predominantly remote, occasional on-site appointments in Germany required
• Engagement type: Freelance
