Job description
We are looking for a Product Owner for a mobile app development project in the Cologne area, with a 70% remote work option. The role involves managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and collaborating with development and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Further development of a mobile app and translation of the product vision into concrete goals and product initiatives
- Responsibility for the product backlog and prioritization based on customer benefit, economic efficiency, and technical feasibility
- Creation and refinement of user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Support of product development in close cooperation with development, UX, and stakeholders
- Analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate opportunities, risks, and product decisions
- Planning and control of releases and go-lives, taking into account capacities and dependencies
- Ensuring the implementation of functional, technical, and regulatory requirements

- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable role
- Sound knowledge of backlog management, requirements engineering, and prioritization of product requirements
- Experience in the development and further development of digital products and applications
- Good knowledge of agile methods, especially Scrum and Kanban
- Basic technical understanding and experience in collaborating with software development teams
- Analytical skills and experience with data-based product decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
