For the further development of a central Digital Workplace product in a public administration, we are looking for an experienced personality in the role of Product Owner.

Following the successful introduction of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, the next phase of product-oriented development begins. The focus is on impact-oriented, customer-centric, and prioritized development of the digital workplace, as well as building internal Product Owner competencies.

In this role, you will be responsible for the functional further development of the product, manage the Product Backlog, and work closely with stakeholders from specialist departments, IT, and management. Additionally, you will support and coach an internal Junior Product Owner role to ensure sustainable knowledge transfer.

• Development and further development of product goals and roadmap
• Preparation of decision-making bases for steering committees
• Creation, maintenance, and prioritization of the Product Backlog
• Recording, analysis, and concretization of requirements
• Formulation of User Stories and acceptance criteria
• Ensuring functional feasibility together with the development team
• Identification and support of relevant stakeholders
• Moderation of workshops, coordination meetings, and decision-making processes
• Communication of priorities, progress, and decisions
• Participation in Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Support in defining Sprint Goals
• Definition and monitoring of suitable key figures for success measurement
• Analysis of usage, acceptance, and goal achievement
• Derivation and prioritization of improvement measures
• Contribution to the further development of roles, processes, and responsibilities
• Optimization of product governance and contribution of best practices in product management
• Coaching and support of an internal Junior Product Owner role
• Ensuring structured knowledge and experience transfer
• Documentation of relevant methods, processes, and decisions
• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
• Demonstrable experience in building and further developing digital products
• Very good knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience in stakeholder management at various organizational levels
• Experience in organizational development and change management
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365
• Experience with Modern Workplace or Digital Workplace environments
• Understanding of the Microsoft roadmap and the impact of product changes on operations and users
• Ability to structure requirements from specialist departments, IT, and management and translate them into clear product prioritization
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• High communication and moderation skills
• Enjoyment of coaching, knowledge transfer, and empowering internal roles
• Experience in public administration is an advantage
