Responsibilities

• Planning and Resources: Create and maintain an integrated location, schedule, capacity, and budget plan. Consider effort, travel times, vacation, replacements, preliminary work, and reserves. Clarify capacity gaps before confirming a deadline.
• Team Leadership and Presence: Set clear tasks, rules of engagement, and quality requirements. Recognize work progress and overload, lead personally if necessary, and determine when the team can work independently. Enforce security, access, and labeling requirements at the locations.
• Location Management: Mandatorily involve local IT, business units, and management, check prerequisites, coordinate deadlines, and resolve obstacles via agreed escalation paths.
• Status and Escalation: Review feedback based on verifiable evidence. Report risks, deviations, and resource needs early with proposed solutions, impact, and decision requirements. "Completed" requires agreed-upon completion criteria.
• Scope and Costs: Evaluate additional requirements, make effort and impact transparent, and coordinate changes before implementation. No silent expansion of the scope.
• Standardization and Handover: Establish a reusable rollout procedure including preparation, implementation, training, documentation, hypercare, and handover to regular operations. Track open points with responsible persons and deadlines.

• Demonstrable independent leadership of complex IT rollouts at multiple locations, including international coordination and robust resource and budget management.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 or comparably complex workplace migrations. Must be able to assess technical dependencies, migration risks, tests, fallback options, and handover readiness.
• Experience in the functional leadership of mixed project teams consisting of own employees, customer resources, and potentially other service providers. Clear delegation, consistent follow-up, and constructive conflict resolution.
• Proven ability to take over an existing project in a difficult situation, clarify the facts and priorities, and derive a realistic implementation plan from them.
• Confident demeanor towards site managers and management; ability to demand necessary decisions and cooperation, and to justifiably postpone a rollout if prerequisites are missing.
• Willingness and actual availability for coordinated national and international on-site assignments. Presence will be planned based on risk, site readiness, and team support needs.
• Very good German and English skills for team leadership, status reports, management coordination, and collaboration with international sites.
• Bindingly assured capacity for the agreed role, including on-site assignments and onboarding. Parallel mandates must not impair the assured availability.
• Rollouts in industrial environments or at production sites with local security requirements and limited migration windows.
• Practice with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows 11, and client management.
• Collaboration with distributed teams across multiple time zones and handling different local working methods.
• Development of rollout standards, hypercare processes, and handovers to operations and service desk; experience with user training and change communication.
• Methodological qualification, e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA. Certifications complement proven project experience but do not replace it.
• The person sought works independently, reliably, and solution-oriented. They also communicate unpleasant facts early, verify the impact of their actions, and adapt their leadership to the situation. They combine assertiveness with respect for the team and the customer organization.
• The role requires sufficient technical competence to classify technical contributions and prepare decisions. Suitable technical resources must be available for detailed architecture and operational implementation; these tasks must not permanently distract the project management from their leadership role.
