With your energy, it's possible
Provide direction for digital solutions for the future of operational grid control and congestion management.
Connect System Operations Electricity, Net Performance Management, IT, and Operational Technology.
Translate business goals and requirements into Proof of Concepts and applicable solutions for maximum utilization of the electricity grid, while ensuring safety and reliability.
This is how you take on the challenge
The energy transition requires fundamentally different choices in the utilization and management of the existing electricity grid. Current issues include how Enexis can better utilize flex contracts for customers and how grid reserve, the 'hard shoulder' of the grid, can be used without compromising safety and reliability.
Enexis is therefore developing an operational calculation platform that combines customer, asset, and grid load data. With advanced calculations, the platform provides insight into future grid situations and supports congestion management and increasingly smart, partly automated decision-making. A first. A first concrete application focuses on a grid safety analysis for a planned outage. This way, we inform our technicians when they can work.
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the product vision, direction, and value creation. You delve into the technical content; energy technology, network management, and digital solutions. You combine strategic thinking with execution power and ensure that the right initiatives are realized at the right time. You translate the ambitions of System Operations Electricity and the needs of Net Performance Management into technical requirements, bringing together the worlds of operations, data, IT, and Operational Technology.
You feel at home in an environment where innovation and operations come together. You work in a process with a lot of movement and uncertainty. Not everything is fixed in advance, and frameworks are still under development. You provide direction, identify opportunities, and develop new products, processes, and working methods together with stakeholders. In doing so, you weigh customer interests, laws and regulations, operational feasibility, societal impact, and technical possibilities. You collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, process experts, and IT/OT teams.
Even under pressure, you maintain an overview, make clear choices, and keep an eye on different interests and relationships.
These are your responsibilities
Development of an innovative solution for operational grid control & congestion management. Testing this solution in PoCs and Pilots
Providing direction for the product vision, roadmap, and backlog
Prioritizing based on value, safety, risk, feasibility, and available capacity.
Connecting business stakeholders, architects, process experts, and IT and OT teams.
Translating innovative ideas into working, scalable solutions with demonstrable value.
Monitoring progress, dependencies, and results and making timely adjustments.
Guiding the transition from experiment and development to implementation, adoption, and use in operations.
Playing a key role in the further development and adoption of System Operations solutions within Enexis.
This is what you bring
You are an experienced Product Owner who provides direction in a complex stakeholder environment and can mobilize teams and stakeholders. Furthermore, you possess:
Furthermore, you have:
Affinity with OT systems, grid control, real-time operational processes, or other business-critical environments.
Substantive knowledge of grid congestion, flexibility solutions, or Power-Grid-Model is a plus
Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years as a Product Owner, Program Manager, Product Manager, or similar management role.
Demonstrable experience with complex stakeholder environments where interests often conflict.
Excellent organizational skills and the natural ability to mobilize teams and stakeholders.
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and preferably SAFe.
Knowledge of change processes, chain collaboration, and implementation issues.
Willingness to be present at the office at least 3 days a week (alternating between 's-Hertogenbosch, Weert, Zwolle, and Arnhem).
HBO or WO work and thinking level.
Information about the team
You will work in a multidisciplinary team within Enexis's operational domain. Together with colleagues from Operations, IT, Data, and OT, you will develop a reliable data foundation, predictive models, and applications for grid insight and control. In this way, you contribute to safe grid operation, responsible maintenance, and a future-proof electricity grid.
