Responsibilities

Profile

• Operational control and coordination of ongoing production / assembly
• Technical leadership and support of shift and team leaders
• Ensuring timely delivery to the OEM customer under JIS conditions
• Analysis, stabilization and optimization of existing production processes
• Introduction and further development of standards and best practices in the production environment
• Implementation of measures in the areas of Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing
• Identification and realization of efficiency and productivity increases
• Close cooperation with the departments Quality, Logistics, Engineering and Customer Management
• Support with audits and ensuring compliance with relevant automotive standards
• Operational escalation management for production deviations or short-term customer requirements
• Sound experience in the operational management of production areas within the automotive industry
• Demonstrable expertise in the Just-in-Sequence (JIS) environment with direct OEM connection
• Practical experience with renowned Tier 1 suppliers in a series production environment
• Ability to safely control and stabilize production processes even under high time and delivery pressure
• Sound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence and continuous process improvement
• Experience in the introduction, standardization and sustainable implementation of production standards
• Confident interaction at the relevant interfaces with Quality, Logistics, Engineering and Customer
• Strong hands-on mentality combined with strong assertiveness and decisiveness
• Experience in leading and managing larger production areas in shift operations
• Fluent German and English skills for collaboration with international customers, plants and audits
