Project overview
Crystal Placement is looking for a Senior SAP Program Director for a long-term mission with a leading European defence group.
Context
Our client is running a group-wide SAP transformation program (migration from ECC to S/4HANA). Program teams are currently being structured, and in 2027 the program will focus on France and Italy. Our client is therefore looking for a Program Director to lead the Italian part of the program.

- Lead the Italian stream of the SAP S/4HANA program
- Coordinate with the group program team based in France
- Steer planning, budget, risks and governance with Italian stakeholders
- Report to group program management
- Senior Program Director with a strong SAP background, ideally on ECC to S/4HANA migrations
- Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs
- Native/fluent Italian speaker, fluent English (French is a plus)
- Eligible for Italian defence security clearance
- Available for regular on-site presence in Rome
- Location: Rome, Italy
- Duration: 1 year+ (long-term mission)
- Start date: to be confirmed
