Project overview

Wanted roles (multiple casting possible):

Responsibilities

• Management and coordination of an IT program with at least three projects running in parallel
• Program and portfolio management, dependency and milestone management
• Risk, issue and escalation management
• Setting up and operating the program PMO (planning, status reports, decision templates)
• Preparation and moderation of steering and steering committees
• Stakeholder management between business departments, IT and external service providers

Requirements

– Program management: at least 5 years

– Project/sub-project management: at least 3 years

– Consultant: at least 2 years

– PMO: at least 2 years

• Relevant professional experience per role:
• Of which at least 1.5 years in projects for public administration at federal or state level (including their IT service providers)
• Support of at least one programme or transformation project of the public administration (federal/state) of comparable size, e.g. specialist process modernisation, IT consolidation,
• Completed university degree or equivalent qualification
• German at least C1 (fluent in business), both written and spoken
• Willingness to undergo reliability/security checks
• Provision of services from Germany
• Certifications PRINCE2, PMP, IPMA, SAFe or Scrum
• Experience with state IT service providers or IT consolidation programs
• Start: expected 01.01.2027
• Duration: 12 months with option to extend
• Location: mainly remote (from Germany), regular on-site appointments
• Workload: several days a week, on demand
• Remuneration: All-in daily rate (travel and incidental expenses are not reimbursed separately)
• Current profile/CV in German
• List of your projects for public administration with client, role, period (MM/YYYY) and person-days
• Specifying the desired role
• Availability from 01.01.2027 and all-in daily rate
