The assignment focuses on ensuring the safety level during road works in West Netherlands North within the A-roads cluster. The role involves developing and updating safety plans, risk assessments, and safety files, as well as supervising contractors and training junior staff.

The assignment focuses on ensuring the safety level during road works in West Netherlands North within the A-roads cluster.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Prepare and update the Integral Safety Plan for the roads
- Prepare and update Design RI&E's and RI&E's for preliminary investigations
- Elaborate BTO choices and consider associated risks in the Design RI&E
- Compile Integral Safety Files for new and modified objects
- Check the availability of existing safety files with object managers
- Review procurement plans, contract documents, and safety plan updates for V&G aspects and BTO choices
- Review V&G plans and work plans of the contractor before and during execution
- Check whether the contractor adheres to the V&G plan, including through safety rounds
- Update Integral Safety Files of existing objects
- Guide product inquiries and employees in the field of integral safety
- Train a junior Project Employee Integral Safety
- Register and follow up on the handling of incident reports
- Plan and report safety rounds in a dashboard
- Completed training in Secondary Safety Expertise
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a technical infrastructure team in the field of integral safety
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reviewing and assessing work plans, V&G plans, RI&E's and verifications
- Minimum 5 years of work experience gained within the Civil Engineering and Infrastructure sector
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in performance contracts within the dry infra area
- VCA-Vol certificate
- Completed training in Higher Safety Expertise is a plus
- Experience as an Occupational Health and Safety expert is a plus
- Experience with Rijkswaterstaat and advising within the IPM role model is a plus
- Experience with client responsibility in the field of safety management is a plus
- Flexible and independent work attitude with persuasive power
