Project Director

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Director to take responsibility for the successful planning, management, and implementation of complex projects and programs. The activity is predominantly remote, with 1 presence day per month in Zurich.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the planning and implementation of large, complex projects.
• Management of project goals, budgets, timelines, resources, and risks.
• Application of SAFe, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project methods.
• Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary teams and external service providers.
• Close collaboration with Senior Management and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring governance, compliance, and transparent project reporting.
• Management of change management and communication measures.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in project and program management of complex large-scale projects.
• Sound knowledge of SAFe, Agile/Scrum, and classic project management methods.
• Experience in budget planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Mainframe knowledge as well as experience with modernization and migration projects are a great advantage.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
