Job description
The role involves managing and integrating various shipboard systems including alarm/monitoring, public address/general alarm, and TETRA communication. Responsibilities include updating documentation, coordinating suppliers, and overseeing system commissioning.
Project overview
+ Support of the alarm and monitoring system as a central system where all information converges, including standardization and integration of new controls, interfaces, and servers. Existing measuring points and sensors will be retained.
+ Support of the PA/GA system (Public Address / General Alarm), the ship's loudspeaker system, including the required class approval.
+ Support and integration of the TETRA communication system.
+ Updating and adapting planning documents and as-built plans with BricsCAD.
+ Technical integration and connection of existing systems with new systems.
+ Constructive elaboration of necessary adjustments as well as coordination of work and informing production.
+ Independent control and coordination of suppliers.
+ Accompanying the transfer of the systems to ship operation as well as accompanying suppliers during commissioning and execution of I/O tests.
Requirements
+ Experience as a project engineer
+ Experience in shipbuilding/maritime environment
+ Experience in electrical engineering on ships
+ Experience in supplier management
+ CAD tool experience
+ German
+ English
