Responsibilities

• Planning, coordination, and implementation of technical fire protection solutions in investment projects
• Responsibility for sprinkler systems, fire water networks, deluge systems, and other fire extinguishing systems
• Management and supervision of external planning offices, suppliers, and installation companies
• Collaboration with engineering teams, architects, specialist planners, and plant fire brigades
• Conducting design reviews and technical coordination in multidisciplinary projects
• Ensuring compliance with fire protection guidelines, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Accompanying commissioning, functional tests, and system tests
• Monitoring costs, deadlines, quality, and project risks
• Review and handover of technical documentation and as-built documents
• Support of CAPEX projects with fire protection-related issues

Requirements

My advantages:

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or comparable
• Solid professional experience in technical fire protection or Fire Protection Engineering
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or industrial projects
• Knowledge of sprinkler, fire water, deluge, or other fire extinguishing systems
• Profound knowledge of relevant fire protection standards and guidelines (e.g., VKF)
• Experience working with external service providers and general contractors
• Knowledge in GMP-regulated environments is an advantage
• Experience with commissioning, acceptance, and system tests
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Long-term planned project duration in a leading international pharmaceutical company
• Responsible role in complex large-scale CAPEX projects
• Participation in state-of-the-art production and research facilities
• Versatile range of tasks with high technical responsibility
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and international experts
