Project Engineer Plant Construction and Process Optimization

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced project engineer to support a comprehensive plant construction project over a period of 24 months. You will play a key role from the concept phase to commissioning, actively supporting all project phases.

Your tasks include conceptual planning with inventory and capacity calculations, the design of new plant areas, and layout development. You will create technical specifications, carry out tender management, and coordinate supplier inquiries. You will be responsible for bid evaluation, conduct technical clarifications, and support detailed engineering.

In the implementation phase, you will support manufacturing, monitor production, and conduct factory acceptance tests. During assembly and commissioning, you will be on-site at the construction site, support commissioning, and oversee the ramp-up of the plant.

We expect 5 to 10 years of professional experience in plant construction, ideally in the process industry. Sound knowledge of conveying technology (chain conveyors, conveyor belts), air and material transport, fans, piping and ducting systems, filter systems, and burner and combustion systems is required. Experience with industrial production plants is essential.

Fluent English skills are necessary. The project start is planned for November 2026.
