What will you do?

Major (climatic) challenges, societal themes, and the important task of ensuring sufficient and clean water, all important developments where we must be able to rely on a future-proof application landscape. The application landscape is becoming more complex, and the coherence and integration are growing and strengthening. With an information policy plan and a clear and concrete vision of the information architecture, we ensure that HHNK is ready for the future. Think of digital transformation, improved services, and privacy by design in system configurations, all themes that are also high on our agenda.

With an ambitious portfolio of diverse projects, you as a project leader will not be bored and will make an important contribution to the innovative developments that will move the Water Board forward. Examples of projects include area inspections with satellite images, process-oriented document management, case-based working, and data engineering.

What do you bring?

We are looking for a results-oriented and decisive project leader with a HBO work and thinking level and a completed HBO education. What we consider at least as important is that you have several years of experience in guiding (complex) projects from A to Z and managing project teams. You are successful in creating support within the organization and know how to enthusiastically involve everyone in the projects flawlessly.

You have demonstrable experience with Agile working (Scrum, Kanban) and you have affinity with data science and data engineering. You also preferably have affinity with the processes of the water board and contribute to the innovation of our work.

• You will realize projects, each with different (technical) complexity and dynamics, within constraints regarding lead time, budget, and quality. You are used to working with agile methodologies.
• As an experienced project leader, you will be involved from beginning to end. Together with the client, you will determine the objectives and scope of projects and assemble your team.
• With good stakeholder management, you ensure that all stakeholders collaborate well and continue to make an optimal contribution to the result.
• As a connector pur sang, you will effortlessly connect with the scrum teams and ensure good coordination with other projects and stakeholders.
• You will closely follow current developments and know how to integrate relevant developments and innovations.
• You will inform everyone about the progress of your projects with clear reports.
• With your flexibility, you adapt quickly and handle bumps in the road smoothly.
• Excellent communication skills; you easily connect in different environments and at different levels.
• Persuasiveness, this helps you to bring others along and to keep the projects on the right course together.
