Project Manager Building Services & Commissioning

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager Building Services & Commissioning, you will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of the commissioning of building services systems on a challenging industrial project. You will ensure that all systems are handed over on time, economically, and in accordance with applicable quality, safety, and contractual requirements.

• Coordination and control of commissioning by subcontractors
• Technical supervision of mechanical and electrical trades
• Ensuring project goals are met regarding quality, costs, and deadlines
• Monitoring and tracking project progress, including reporting and documentation
• Interface management between clients, engineering, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Review of work and execution concepts (Method Statements)
• Identification, documentation, and tracking of defects, and initiation of appropriate corrective actions
• Support in risk, opportunity, and claim management
• Accompanying inspections, tests, acceptances, and system handovers
• Creation and compilation of complete test and as-built documentation
• Conducting contractor kick-off meetings and regular status meetings
• Monitoring contractor resource and commissioning planning
• Support with additional orders, extra services, and insurance cases
• Training of project staff in the area of responsibility
• Acting as the responsible commissioning engineer according to local regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Building Equipment, Supply Engineering, or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in commissioning or start-up
• Sound knowledge in Technical Building Equipment (TGA)
• Experience with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and pump systems
• Good knowledge of occupational safety and international Health & Safety standards
• Experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors
• Knowledge of project controlling and site management
• Very good German language skills
• Good English language skills
• Confident handling of technical regulations and standards
• Knowledge in electrical engineering is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, team orientation, and organizational talent
• Location: Am Stahl 2, 91301 Forchheim
• No shift work
• Canteen use possible
• Willingness to travel: required due to the project
