Act as a contact person for contractors during the execution phase of civil engineering projects in public spaces, overseeing quality, planning, budget, and contractual agreements.
Project overview
As a Project Manager, you will work on civil engineering projects in the public space of Utrecht.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Act as a contact person for contractors during the execution phase
- Monitor quality, planning, budget, and contractual agreements
- Manage RAW, D&C, and UAV contracts
- Handle administration related to specifications and contract management
- Identify, manage, and report on project risks
- Process and coordinate VTW (Requests for Change) processes
- Coordinate with supervisors, project leaders, and other team members
- Lead meetings and negotiations with contractors and other stakeholders
- Bachelor's or Master's work and thinking level
- Diploma in the direction of Civil Engineering or Construction
- At least 3 years of work experience as a project manager
- Demonstrable experience with civil engineering projects in urban areas
- Experience in managing contractors for RAW, D&C, and/or UAV contracts
- Experience with specification administration, risk management, and VTW processes
- Knowledge of Bakker & Spees and/or IBIS, or willingness to learn
- Valid VCA-VOL certificate
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and negotiation
