Project overview

In the role of project manager, you will lead diverse civil engineering projects within the public space.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Managing various civil engineering projects focused on maintenance and developmental management
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously in various phases
• Clarifying the client's request and handling project initiation and team setup
• Ensuring the execution and handover of projects to the management organization
• Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and external consulting firms
• Advising clients on municipal processes and developments
• Integrating themes such as sustainability, climate adaptation, and healthy urban living into the projects
• Liaising with stakeholders and guiding participation processes where necessary
• Monitoring planning, quality, budget, and project objectives
• Making decisions within the agreed project frameworks
• Completed HBO education, preferably in Civil Engineering
• At least five years of experience in a project management role for projects in the public space
• Technical knowledge in the field of civil engineering, particularly maintenance, realization, and developmental management of Civil Engineering projects
• Practical experience with, among others, sewage, pavements, sheet piling, and reconstructions
• Experience with project-based work
• Experience with politically sensitive projects, preferably gained within a municipal context (preferred)
• IPMA-C certification or a comparable training such as Neerlands Diep (preferred)
• Proficiency in the Dutch language
