Project overview

For a demanding long-term project in the wind energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Construction (m/f/d) to oversee the implementation of a site expansion and construction measures in an industrial environment. We are seeking a personality who combines operational construction site experience with structured project management and can safely guide projects through the construction phase.

Responsibilities

• Support of the overall project manager during the ongoing construction phase
• Coordination and management of all project-related activities on site
• Coordination with internal departments, external service providers, and construction companies
• Monitoring of project progress, deadlines, and open actions
• Ensuring smooth cooperation of all involved trades
• Organization and moderation of project and construction site meetings
• Support in identifying and tracking project risks
• Documentation and reporting of relevant project KPIs
• Accompanying acceptances and ensuring compliance with defined quality standards
• Occasional international coordination within the project environment

• Several years of experience in project management of construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
• Sound knowledge in managing construction companies and subcontractors
• Experience in the construction phase of larger projects
• Good knowledge of schedule, cost, and stakeholder management
• Experience in the wind energy project environment, ideally onshore
• Understanding of the processes, interfaces, and challenges within wind farm and wind energy projects
• Very good German language skills, written and spoken
• High willingness to travel and readiness for permanent presence at the project site
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Experience with site expansions or new construction projects in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of international project structures
• Good English skills
