Project Manager European Tender and Migration WebOps & CMS

Project overview

As a project manager, you will guide the European tender for WebOps and CMS and, after awarding the contract, manage the implementation and potential migration.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Finalize the program of requirements together with Communication, Information Provision, and Procurement
• Prepare the plan of approach, detailed schedule, governance, and escalation route
• Guide the publication, assessment, supplier selection, and contracting
• Monitor contributions, coordination, decision-making, and timely delivery
• Maintain an up-to-date risk, issue, action, and decision log
• Translate the award into a manageable implementation and migration project
• Establish the implementation and migration plan together with the supplier and specialists
• Organize deployment from involved departments and the supplier
• Monitor schedule, quality, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria
• Complete implementation and any migration before the deadline of June 15, 2027
• Coordinate aftercare and remaining findings
• Provide handover, handover file, and final report
• Formally close the project no later than June 30, 2027
• Working and thinking level at least HBO (higher professional education) level
• 5 years or more of experience as a project manager in complex ICT or digital projects
• Experience with guiding at least 1 European tender
• Experience with implementing or migrating webops, hosting, or CMS services
• Experience with a complex implementation or migration under a strict, contractual deadline
• Preferred: experience with both the tender and the subsequent implementation or migration
• Preferred: knowledge of CMS environments such as WordPress, hosting, and technical website management
• Preferred: experience with collaboration between Communication, Information Provision, and Procurement
• Preferred: experience with implementation and migration preparation during the tender phase
• Preferred: knowledge of information security, privacy, and continuity within digital services
• Preferred: experience within a public organization
