Project Manager in the Banking Environment

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with assertiveness to manage demanding client projects in the banking environment, starting immediately.

The position is primarily remote with occasional on-site appointments.

Responsibilities

You will represent internal interests in a large, ongoing project and quickly familiarize yourself with the technical and contractual environment. You will reconcile new client requirements with the agreed scope of services and clearly define demands outside the scope. You will conduct difficult negotiations at eye level, including with management, and negotiate consistently. You will prepare lines of argument, decision proposals, and escalations for management, manage change requests and supplementary claims together with specialist departments and sales, and document all agreements, decisions, and deviations.

Requirements

You have many years of experience in project management, ideally in projects with demanding stakeholder situations. You are characterized by high assertiveness, tenacity, and a confident demeanor, even under pressure. Negotiation skills and the ability to draw clear boundaries are a matter of course for you. You have a quick grasp and work pragmatically and solution-oriented. Experience with scope, change, and claim management, as well as an understanding of contractual frameworks, are advantageous.

We offer:

Full-time position with a minimum duration of 12 months and an extension option. Start is possible immediately.
