We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a major financial services organisation, supporting the delivery of business and technology change across a complex transformation environment.

The role will take ownership of projects across the full change lifecycle, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.

This would suit an experienced Project Manager comfortable operating in a large, complex and highly regulated organisation, managing multiple stakeholder groups and delivering a mixture of business and technology transformation.

Job Title: Project Manager

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of business and technology change projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, plans, resources and delivery milestones.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, technical resources and business SMEs.
• Manage third-party suppliers and external delivery partners.
• Provide clear project reporting and escalation to senior stakeholders and sponsors.
• Manage changes to scope, timelines and costs throughout delivery.
• Drive organisational change across impacted business areas, removing barriers and resolving delivery challenges.
• Maintain appropriate project governance and documentation.
• Proven Project Management Experience delivering both business and technology change.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing multiple or competing projects and priorities.
• Strong project planning, financial management and budgetary control Experience .
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong risk, issue and dependency management capability.
• Experience within financial services, life insurance or pensions.
• PRINCE2 and/or APM qualification.
• Understanding of financial and accounting principles within a life and pensions environment.
