Project overview
Job Description
"As a Project Manager, you will connect people, processes, and technology within the physical domain. You will ensure that the municipality of Tilburg digitizes its information provision for the Environmental Act and grows into a data-driven network organization!"
What will you do?
As Project Manager Rx.Mission, you will provide direction for a strategic and socially important digitization and harmonization project at the intersection of ICT, data, and the physical living environment. Since the Environmental Act came into effect, there is a societal and administrative task to manage spatial-economic projects (such as housing, climate adaptation, and the energy transition) integrally and data-driven.
Currently, VTH processes and data streams are still fragmented across different silos and systems. You will take the lead in setting up the Rx.Mission application (in conjunction with Rx.Base and STTR Builder) chain-wide as the central information base. Through a structured approach and clear communication, you will ensure support among all internal departments and external chain partners.

Job Requirements
What do you bring?
You are a connecting and results-oriented project manager with strong empathy. You get energy from complex organizational and technical issues and can get people from different departments on board with a new way of working.
Company Information
Where will you work?
You will become part of the Program, Project, and Interim Management (PPI) department, a professional team of approximately 120 colleagues working on socially relevant tasks for the city. Within PPI, you will be part of the ICT team (approx. 30 colleagues). You will work closely with the Data, Information, and Technology (DIT) department (including the Architecture team and the IBC team) and various chain partners within the physical living environment. Your base will be the renovated City Office in Tilburg, where hybrid working (partly at home, partly at the office) is well facilitated.
Naturally, this vacancy is open to anyone who recognizes themselves in this.
