Project Manager - Linux
Sheffield/hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
12 month contract
£450 per day inside ir35
Eligible for BPSS
I'm looking for an experienced Project Manager - Linux to lead the design, build and launch of an enterprise RHEL server service running on IBM LinuxONE.
Key experience required:
You'll coordinate mainframe, Linux, networking, storage, security and service management teams to deliver a secure, resilient, production-ready infrastructure service.

- IBM LinuxONE/IBM Z, including LPARs, IFL capacity and virtualisation.
- Enterprise RHEL infrastructure and service management.
- Infrastructure programme/project delivery across multiple technical teams.
- Service introduction, operational readiness and production go-live.
- Managing delivery plans, risks, dependencies, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Establishing support models, SLAs, disaster recovery and service catalogues.
- Banking or financial sector experience is desirable.
