Job description
Manage complex customer projects in automotive interior and exterior development and industrialization, acting as the interface between customers and internal departments, and ensuring adherence to schedule, cost, and quality targets.
Responsibilities
- Management of demanding customer projects: Planning, coordination, and implementation of extensive development and industrialization projects throughout the entire project lifecycle up to series production launch.
- Customer interface: Technical and organizational coordination with customers from the automotive sector, as well as coordination of relevant topics, decisions, and escalations within the project.
- Coordination of specialist departments: Integration and management of involved departments such as development, quality, purchasing, production, and controlling to ensure a coordinated project flow.
- Schedule, cost, and quality management: Monitoring of defined project goals and continuous tracking of deadlines, budgets, resources, and quality requirements.
- Risk and change management: Early identification of potential project risks, assessment of impacts, and definition and tracking of suitable countermeasures. Coordination of technical and commercial changes during the project.
- Industrialization and series production launch: Management of relevant activities and milestones towards production release and series start, as well as support of the ramp-up phase until stabilization.
- Project controlling and reporting: Preparation of the current project status based on relevant key figures, cost developments, forecasts, risks, and open actions, as well as regular communication to the relevant decision-makers.
