Project Manager Reception Location

Project overview

As Project Manager, you will guide and manage the integral preparation, realization, delivery, and handover of a reception location for asylum seekers.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Organizing and monitoring the project plan, schedule, phasing, and decision-making, and translating administrative starting points into a program of requirements
• Coordinating technical, legal, and financial investigations and timely identifying and managing risks
• Managing architects, consultants, engineers, and other involved parties and monitoring the coherence between disciplines
• Coordinating permits, procurement and tendering processes, and contract formation, including supervision of additional and less work and other contract risks
• Managing the renovation in terms of schedule, budget, quality, and safety, including coordination of executing parties
• Reporting on progress, finances, and risks and making proposals for adjustments
• Organizing the delivery, handling outstanding issues, and ensuring a complete handover to the management organization
• Preparing the location for operational use, including security, cleaning, utilities, and the emergency organization
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in construction or spatial planning
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Solid experience as a project manager in real estate and construction projects, with at least 2 completed renovation or transformation projects
• Experience in the integral management of projects in terms of schedule, finances, quality, and risks
• Experience with municipal real estate
• Experience with asylum reception
• Proficiency in the Dutch language
