Experienced Project Manager sought for a 3-month hybrid project focused on the retrofit and modernization of food production facilities. Responsibilities include analysis, planning, supplier management, and execution oversight.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced project manager to lead a retrofit and modernization project in the food production sector. The project is planned for three months and will be carried out in a hybrid working model.
Your tasks include a comprehensive inventory and technical data collection on existing production and packaging facilities. You will conduct a detailed analysis, prioritize necessary measures, and develop a structured modernization plan. Another focus is on obtaining, evaluating, and comparing technical supplier offers.
You will provide internal advice on the offers received and manage the entire tendering process. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing external suppliers, service providers, and, if necessary, construction supervision. You will monitor the implementation of all measures regarding adherence to deadlines, cost budgets, and quality standards.
We expect in-depth experience with bakery machinery as well as production or packaging facilities. Proven experience in retrofit, conversion, or modernization projects is required. You should have solid knowledge in the technical evaluation of plant conditions and investment measures. Experience in professional dealings with suppliers, original equipment manufacturers, and service partners is necessary.
Required competencies include technical analysis, project planning, consulting, quality assurance, and project management. The location is in Lower Saxony.
