Project Manager Student Housing (interim)

Project overview

Provide direction for the realization of a large-scale student housing project on the TU Campus in Delft.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Direct the development of 1,800 to 2,100 student homes in three phases
• Guide complex internal and external processes
• Organize and direct multidisciplinary project teams
• Monitor planning and finances
• Conduct negotiations with various involved parties
• Set up and guide a participation process with local residents and stakeholders
• Coordinate communication regarding the progress of the various components of the plan
• Connect the various campus areas within the development
• Stimulate a lively and innovative environment for interaction
• Strengthen existing sports functions in the area
• Ensure quality improvement in the area
• Develop supporting facilities on the ground floor and in public spaces
• Connect administrative, political, and societal interests
• Working and thinking level at HBO or WO level
• At least 2 years of experience in the last 10 years as a project manager for or on behalf of a municipality, province, or the central government
• At least 3 years of experience in the last 10 years managing complex processes, programs, and projects within a complex organization
• At least 3 years of experience in the last 10 years leading multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with participation processes with many stakeholders is a plus
• Experience as a project manager with student housing or special target groups is a plus
• Available from December 1, 2026, for an average of 36 hours per week
