Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations in coordination with the responsible authorities and the internal environmental officer
• Creation of the requirements profile, including dimensioning with the plant manufacturer and acceptance of the requirements of all PIs (functional/non-functional requirements)
• Tests for the treatment of production wastewater (from cleaning/polishing processes, possibly etching processes)
• Concept and implementation of a hazardous materials storage facility for the plant manufacturer's hazardous materials
• Implementation of a maintenance and upkeep concept with the plant manufacturer and CRE, operational management
• Creation and implementation of an emergency concept with CRE and the plant manufacturer
• Technical collaboration with external specialist planners regarding ancillary facilities such as the sedimentation tank

Requirements

• Expertise in process engineering or chemistry, business administration, building and energy technology
• Special knowledge in environmental legislation and environmental management
• At least UMB/QMB for ISO14001
• Relevant experience in the planning, development, and commissioning of water treatment plants
• Ideally, good knowledge of occupational safety, especially qualified person for the assessment of working conditions
