Project Manager with Experience in the Public Sector

Project overview

For our client in the public sector, we are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience in the public sector.

Responsibilities

Knowledge:

• Overall coordination of the development workshop and steering of workstreams
• Structuring and coordination of work packages, deliverables, and milestones
• Development of an integrated implementation plan including quick wins
• Management of dependencies, risks, open decisions, and escalations
• Establishment and further development of governance, reporting, and decision-making structures
• Coordination of DRV, authorities, IT service providers, and involved teams
• Ensuring binding results, acceptances, and transparent progress
• Steering the transition to internal DRV responsibility together with the functional roles
• Several years of experience in program, project, or transformation management
• Sound knowledge in governance, risk, and decision management
• Experience in stakeholder and escalation management
• Experience with complex IT transformation and modernization projects
• Understanding of software development, development processes, and platform topics
• Experience with SAFe or comparable scaled agile methodologies
• Experience in the public sector or federal organizations is an advantage
• Knowledge in software modernization and platform programs
• Experience in management communication and committee work
• Strong ability to structure complex projects and to steer them in a results-oriented manner
